GRIZZLY LACROSSE INFORMATION
TEAM LEVELS
USA field lacrosse teams are organized by the player's grade level, not their age
2U: K-2ND Graders
4U: 2nd-4th Graders
6U: 5th-6th Graders
8U: 7th-8th Graders

SEASON
The season "officially" starts in January and runs through April.
"Officially" means the start of games and multiple-day practices.

We will begin pre-season practices in the fall before the new year. This period is an excellent time for first-time players to try the sport and get returning players early reps before the season.

GAMES
Lacrosse games are played on Saturdays. In addition, we will play other lacrosse clubs from Houston and surrounding areas and typically play two games per team, depending on the makeup of the competing organizations.

TOURNAMENTS
We plan to participate in the Aggieland Classic lacrosse tournament in January. Tournament participation is encouraged but not required. Additional fees and registration will be required to participate in covering the cost of the tournament registration fee.

There is also an end-of-season tournament that the area teams participate in at no additional cost.
PRACTICES
Open pre-season practices "try-lax" will begin in November.
Registration and Membership are NOT REQUIRED

The team practices will officially start the first week of January.
Complete Grizzly Lacrosse Club Registration and a US Lacrosse Membership ARE REQUIRED to participate.

Practices will be twice a week (M/W or T/TH) from 6-8 pm at New Territory or at a location TBD
*Subject to change due to weather or other events
